Such a slacker...

I promise I do things with Kaylin, just not things that are picture worthy, or even a post dedicated entirely to those little things we do every day!

For those of you who have been to my house, you can see that our family room is a little bit over-crowded with toys! With 2 of my 3 kids still needing the exersaucer and jumperoo, it leaves room for little else. Well after a few measurements (I don't like moving furniture until I know it will fit), I was able to move some things around! Now we have an area dedicated entirely to the kitchen/dress-up toys with a shelf in that area to hold all the toys in buckets!! And our main play area just got a little bigger, just by furniture placement! Crazy how that happens!

I think I can survive this now until we get our basement finished and all these toys can move down there!!!

Fun for the Princesses...

Kaylin was playing with her princess barbie's today and I had the thought to pull out some of my favorite toys as a child! Kaylin couldn't have been happier for a bedroom set, a chair, and a kitchen stove and chairs for her dolls! I don't think I could have made her day any better! She loves it probably as much as I did as a child!!!

Play Doh and Dress up

Kaylin really loves playing with her play doh and make it easier for her to get to it, I put it along with her other crafty things in one of those rolling plastic drawers set. She loves that she can pull out whatever she wants and I LOVE that she takes it right to the kitchen table.

Kaylin has also been into dressing up today! She has worn her ballet dress most of the day! She says she needs a crown so she can be a princess, so she pulled out the dress up tote and now she's dancing around with her crown and ballet dress!

I love her creativity and how much she loves to pretend. I really try to encourage her to explore her creativity whenever she can!

Stickers

Kaylin really enjoys stickers, so when our neighbor brought her this book and some stickers, I decided that the perfect teaching opportunity would be to put her name on the front with stickers. Then I let her use up the rest of the stickers inside the book! She had so much fun making pictures for daddy (that's who all of her pictures are for)!!!

Why am I doing this Blog...

I have decided that having a Daily activity with Miss K is very important to me, and her! Since she LOVED having "Mommy's School" before the holiday's came, I figured why not do this again, but this time documenting what we did here.

I am so excited to be teaching again, even if it's just my own child!
